History of Country Corner Marine
We are a family business. Originally the Martin family started a small food and gas station store to service the small town of Mooresville. When the river was dammed and the lake was formed, the Martins started selling boats to the local residents.
A young man at the age of 14, named Paul Cotton, began working for the Martins as a boat washer. He soon became their main boat rigger. After several years of rigging boats he became an engine technician. In 2001, Paul had an opportunity to purchase the business and has managed and operated the business ever since.

Also in 2001, we built a new facility a few miles away from the original food and gas station store, which had served us for 38 years. Also, our accessories and parts store is the best stocked store on the lake for all your pontoon and boating needs. Paul and his employees have over 130 combined years of experience in sales and service of pontoons, boats, and motors.
